SNN Biafra News Update | Nigerian Army Batch of Foods to Internally Displaced Persons "IDPs" Camps in Bayelsa state [Yenegoa Province, Biafra] poisoned - BRF reports.
November 5, 2018.
The report from Biafra Revolutionary Forces, (BRF) reads:
"The Nigerian Army has delivered food stuffs including, rice, salt and indomie noodles to Biafrans in Bayelsa State. THIS FOOD IS POISONED! Biafrans should throw this food away immediately. BRF restates its instruction to Biafrans not to accept any medicine or food from any Nigerian Organization or Military Group."
Recently, so many homes including schools in provinces across Biafra land were affected by the flood that happened some weeks ago. There are IDP camps set up by the government of each affected state with NEMA manning each, as well as in Yenegoa province to receive affected families and persons. No fewer than 500 households will benefit from the first batch of food and non-food items donated to Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, by flood in Bayelsa State - NEMA and Bayelsa state government
Meanwhile on the 3rd of November, 2018, four days ago Operation Crocodile Smile 3 was launched in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta state as announced by the Nigerian Army. Among the provinces affected by the flood are Warri and Yenegoa provinces, the Nigerian Army on launching Operation Crocodile Smile had dispatched some food and non food items to the various IDP camps in these provinces which BRF reports say the food items dispatched to Bayelsa state are all poisoned.
In Delta state; A truck-load of assorted food items and other relief materials were on Saturday, 3rd November 2018, donated to the the internally displaced persons’ (IDP) camped at the Ogbe-Ijoh Primary School, Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri council area of Delta state by the Nigerian Army.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) the 6th Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Jamil Sarham, who led other senior officers and men of the army to deliver the materials to the displaced persons, explained that it was part of the kick-off of the Exercise Crocodile Smile 3 in Delta state.
According to the General, who was conducted round Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh communities by the Commander of Sector 1 of the Joint Task Force (JTF) Operation Delta Safe (OPDS), Colonel Alhassan Grema, and the Commanding Officer (Rear) of the 3 Battalion, Effurun, Major Salim Hassan, the newly launched Operation Crocodile Smile 3 has been designed to achieve peace and security within all commuties across the country.
At the Ogbe-Ijoh IDP camp, the army chief assured the people that the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, sympathised with them in their plight, adding that he had ordered that the food and other relief materials be provided to cushion the effect of their circumstances.
Speaking to the displaced persons, Sarham said “the Chief of Army Staff is aware of the plight of the victims of this natural disaster, he’s aware that the recent flooding has ravaged their communities and houses and because of that he directed me, along with these officers, this is the Commander of 16 Brigade, Exercise Crocodile Smile 3, to come and see the IDPs and donate these items to alleviate their sufferings”.
“Operation Crocodile Smile 3, basically means ridding communities of all crimes and criminalities, we are to safeguard lives and properties in all ramifications; be it naturally disaster like flooding and what have you. Also, we are not unmindful of the fact that there are criminal elements within society, so the Nigerian Army, in conjunction with other security agencies, has designed an annual training exercise, which dovetails into an operation to ensure that crime does not thrive in our communities, wherever located. That’s basically the essence of Exercise Crocodile Smile 3.
Operation Crocodile Smile 1-3 likewise Operation Python Dance 1-3 are the occupational Nigerian military exercises launched to kill and subdue Biafrans who since 2015 have increased their agitations for an independent and sovereign state of Biafra. Do not believe the excuses from the Nigerian Army given to why these exercises are launched.
Recap in October, 2017 the launched of Operation Crocodile Smile 2, brought Monkey Pox disease to Biafra land. The Nigerian Army led by Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai infected Biafrans with the monkey pox virus through the Nigerian Army medical vaccination outreach to communities in Bayelsa state (Yenegoa Province). It was reported by BRF that Biafrans should reject such medical outreach because it is a plot to infect Biafrans with the monkey pox virus. Biafrans did not heed to the report until the first case of monkey pox was recorded at the very venue the medical outreach exercise by the Nigerian Army began, after the vaccinations were administered to unaffected children who immediately became affected in Bayelsa state. Government of Rivers, Bayelsa, Imo states among other states or Provinces in Biafra immediately issued press statements condemning such military medical outreach and warned that no individual, group or body (military or civilian) should give or force vaccination on citizens. The government of Rivers State notably called on citizens to resist any medical outreach from anyone on military uniform stating vividly that the Nigerian Army are unauthorized by the government of Rivers state to administer medication to children or citizens of the state. On the 13th of October, 2017 the government of Bayelsa state made a press release condemning the Nigerian army medical exercise.
Biafra land is peaceful though heavily occupied by the Nigerian armed forces engaging in all sort of atrocity against the people of Biafra. Atrocities ranging from daily road block extortion from motorists, to sea way extortion from speed boat and passenger boat drivers, to illegal bunkering of crude oil, to raping, killing, illegal arrest and kidnappings of citizens who dare question their heinous activities.
From 2017 to date, following the events reported and occurrences so far, the Nigerian Army may have fully resorted to poisoning of foods and drugs or the usage of biological weapon against "a people without a government of their own", Biafrans. Biafrans have rejected Nigeria and its government and have called to the United Nation for a referendum to decide their fate. Speaking on behalf of over 80 million Biafrans worldwide, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra stated it clearly during a live interview in Israel, that "Biafrans want an independent state of Biafra that have nothing to do with Nigeria".
Should we wait until there are deaths in the IDP camps from the food poisoning before an investigation to the above report by BRF would commence?
