The world leaders and guest gathered at Paris, France over the weekend from Nov. 10th -13th to commemorate the armistice that ended WW1 and attended a #ParisPeaceForum to talk more on global peace among other things.
And yesterday Nov. 14th, 2018 the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu presented the Biafra struggle for independence and sovereignty to some notable Israeli academia at the Tel Aviv university in Israel.
Biafra a region in West Africa, and her people have endured for more than a 100 years to have an independent government and statehood that truly represents their civilization, and as well protects their lives and properties in a fast changing world. During the era [late 1900's] of decolonization when most African states were decolonized and independence granted to the indigenous people; for mineral resources (crude oil) reasons the indigenous people of Biafra were denied independence, and instead annexed or added to the territories that is today considered the state of Nigeria. A union that did not go well for Biafrans who fought to defend their existence before and during the genocide of 1967- 1970, and are today still exposed to a high degree of human rights violation living as citizens under the sovereignty of Nigeria. This union was meant to last for a 100 years which afterwards Biafra and others can decide to continue or breakaway [citing Frederick Luggard 1914 amalgamation document].
Mazi Nnamdi after the Biafra presentation that went well, informed Biafrans using his media handles;
"Today I presented the Biafra struggle for independence to Israeli academia at the prestigious Tel Aviv University. A free Biafra will benefit Israel and promote global peace. Glad to meet Harry Rozenberg. May Elohim, Chukwu Okike Abiama bless #Israel and #Biafra."
Speaking of global peace, Biafra, after the state of Israel suffered great number of deaths of over 5 million Biafrans in a war declared on her independence and sovereignty by the Nigerian government and allies (UK, Soviet Union, Egypt and others). And until today is still without her independence and sovereignty, while the state of Israel and Jews who suffered great genocide are independent and sovereign today. The accord reached at Aburi, Ghana which could have ensured the reign of peace between Biafra, Nigeria and in West Africa was absconded by the then Nigerian Military Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon to execute a genocidal war on a very young republic and people.
At the #Armistice100thAnniversary #ParisPeaceForum President Emmanuel Macron talked about Peace.
@EmmanuelMacron said " Divided one century ago, united today. Thank you to every leader and guest who came to Paris from all over the world this weekends to build peace. We will not be able to say to future generations that we didn't know. Peace is our treasure and our responsibility."
He went further to say " Old Demons are rising again. New ideologies are manipulating religions, and history is threatening its tragedies." He called on fellow world leaders, "let us vow once more as nations to ensure peace is the utmost priority, above all else, because we know what it costs."
Calling for an independent state and sovereign state of Biafra, has brought untold war and systematic killings on peace loving Biafrans. A Right enshrined in the UN Charter on Self Determination, and which happens to be a universal Right to life itself has been ignored blatantly by the state of Nigeria and Allies especially Britain, as they go on devising and executing a cold war on Biafrans and of recent on the family members of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) a group agitating for the freedom and independence of Biafra from Nigeria.
The message of the President of France Emmanuel Macron at #Armistice100thAnniversary in Paris, France with the message of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at Tel-Aviv, Israel both centered on Global Peace. Granting Biafra her long overdue independence will bring lasting peace and deliverance for Biafrans who have suffered immensely at the hands of Nigerian dictators from the time of the military rule to the now sugar coated and tyrannical democratic government of Nigeria, and also from exposure to the Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram attacks.
West Africa, Africa and the rest of the world needs peace, but Biafrans needs it the more!
Grant Biafra a referendum and recognize her sovereignty.
